Xiaomi officially announces the new Poco M3 phone

Today, Tuesday, the company Xiaomi officially announced its latest Poco M3 smartphone, which comes to become the third member of the cheapest series of phones from the Chinese company.

The phone is distinguished by its design, especially the rectangular back camera bump that extends on both sides of the upper section of the back of the phone, where the three rear cameras are located, in addition to the chain logo. The rest of the back of the phone comes with an anti-fingerprint surface, and in three colors, they are: black, blue, and yellow.

The new Xiaomi phone is distinguished by its 6,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging technology of 18 watts, and it can charge other devices as well. According to the company, the phone battery is enough to work for 5 days from a low user, 3 days for a moderate user, and a day and a half of heavy use.

The Poco M3 offers a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD + resolution with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and the screen is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen includes a cut-out for the front camera that comes with an 8-megapixel resolution.

As for the rear camera of the Poco M3, it comes with a 48-megapixel main camera with an f / 1.79 lens slot. The second camera comes with a 2-megapixel camera with an f / 2.4 lens slot, which is dedicated to photographing close-up objects, and the third camera comes with a 2-megapixel camera with an f / 2.4 lens slot, which is dedicated to photographing depth.

The Poco M3 has an eight-core Snapdragon 662 processor from Qualcomm, and it has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage. The phone comes with stereo speakers, and a fingerprint sensor in a side button.

Programmatically, the phone works with the MIUI 12 user interface based on the Android 10 operating system from Google, and Xiaomi plans to update the phone to Android 11.

The Poco M3 is sold on Black Friday, November 27th, at a reduced price of $ 129 for the 4/64 GB option, and at $ 149 for the 4/128 GB option. After the offer expires, the first option will start at $ 149, and the other option will be sold at $ 169.
