Through software updates, Samsung is always working on improving the Galaxy Watch Active 2. A few months ago, the smartwatch received the Tizen UI 5.5 update and some markets gained access to the ECG function.
Now, the South Korean company has released a new update to the LTE variant of the Galaxy Watch Active 2, and it brings improved performance and some new features.
The new update has a 45.42MB download size and firmware version R825USQU1BTJ6, and Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE is now receiving this new software update in the United States.
The official changelog mentions improved GPS accuracy, communication strength, and voice guidance via a connected Bluetooth headset during the workout.
Samsung has also added audio guides for things like distance traveled and heart rate data when Auto Lap is enabled while running and cycling.
Samsung released some of these features to the Galaxy Watch Active 2 in South Korea last month.
Since its launch, the watch has received many new features via software updates, including drop detection, ongoing analysis, and more.
