West Ham United qualified for the quarter-finals of the European League, after beating its guest, Seville, with a clean double, after the match extended to overtime, after the end of the original time of the match, with the English team’s superiority with a clean goal, which is the result of the first leg in favor of the Andalusian team, which brought them together on Thursday evening at the “Olympic” stadium in the English capital, London, in the second leg of the round of 16.

West Ham made the first goal through Tomas Socic in the 39th minute, from a header that landed to the right of Seville goalkeeper Jacin Bono.

Ukrainian Andriy Yamolenko scored the second goal of the English team in the 112th minute of extra time, after following a rebound from the Andalusian team goalkeeper.

The draw for the quarter-finals of the European League will be drawn today, Friday, in the Swiss city of Nyon, with the participation of the eight qualified clubs.

The first leg of the quarter-finals of the European League will be held on Thursday, April 7, with the return matches on the 14th of the same month.
