Chelsea drew 1-1 with Lille

 Chelsea tied with its French host Lille, with a goal for the same, at the end of the first half of the match currently being held at the “Pierre Mauroy” stadium, in the second leg of the 16th round of the European Champions League for the current season 2021-2022.

Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz scored Lille’s goal in the 38th minute of the match, through a penalty kick, which he shot to the left of Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy.

American Christian Bolsic scored the equalizer for the Blues in the third minute of time instead of wasting the first half.

Chelsea had defeated Lille 2-0 in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League, in the match that brought them together on February 22 at Stamford Bridge.

German Kai Havertz is leading Chelsea’s attack in tonight’s match against French Lille alongside American Bolsic, and Belgian star Romelu Lukaku is sitting on the bench, in addition to Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech.
