Seville draws with Alaves and gives Real Madrid the opportunity to move away from the top of La Liga

 Seville lost two valuable points in the competition for the Spanish League title, after a goalless draw with its host Alaves, in the confrontation that brought them together on Friday evening, at the “Mendizorosa” stadium, in the opening of the twenty-seventh round of La Liga for the current season 2021-2022.

Seville failed to penetrate the defenses of the Alaves team, which managed to keep a clean sheet throughout the match, so that the two teams shared the points of the match.

Seville raised its score to 55 points in the La Liga standings, behind Real Madrid, the leader with 60 points, which will face its guest, Real Sociedad, on Saturday evening, while Alaves raised the point 22.

The matches of the twenty-seventh round of the Spanish League will be completed today, Saturday, with 4 matches, most notably Real Madrid’s confrontation with Real Sociedad, and it will resume tomorrow, Sunday, with 4 other matches, most notably Barcelona’s confrontations with its host Elche, and Atletico Madrid will be a guest of Real Betis.
