- Real Madrid has officially announced that its Brazilian player, Vinicius Junior, has obtained Spanish citizenship.
Real Madrid signed Vinicius Junior, 22, in the summer of 2018, from Brazilian Flamengo, for 45 million euros.
Vinicius Junior’s name rose to be among the best in his position in Europe after his distinguished last season with Real Madrid by helping Al-Maringi win Laliga and Champions League titles.

Vinicius Junior has begun the process of obtaining Spanish citizenship so that the Madrid team can sign players from outside Europe.

Real Madrid’s statement read as follows: “Real Madrid announced that Vinicius Junior was sworn in on the Spanish Constitution last Friday, September 2, so from that moment Vinicius became a holder of Spanish citizenship”.
