Ramos threatens to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season due to the curse of injuries

Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos is threatened with leaving the French capital club at the end of the current season, due to the curse of injuries he has suffered since joining in a free deal last summer.

Sergio Ramos joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer from Real Madrid last summer, and with a contract that expires in June 2023.

The Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” reported that Sergio Ramos’ career is threatened with an end at the end of the current season, as the former Real Madrid defender does not guarantee that he will remain in the French capital club next season due to a series of consecutive injuries.

It explained that the curse of the injuries that struck Ramos this season, the latest of which was his suffering from a calf injury, put his future in a dark tunnel, as he was subjected to severe criticism from the Paris Saint-Germain fans recently.

It added that the Paris Saint-Germain administration is developing several options for Sergio Ramos’ departure from the club next summer, due to muscular problems, which have prevented him from playing regularly with the team so far.

Ramos did not participate with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League this season, despite the player’s attempts to recover to reach his previous team, Real Madrid, next Wednesday at the Bernabeu.

Ramos has a contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2023 and was able to participate in only five matches with the team in the league.

It is worth noting that Sergio Ramos participated in 5 matches with Paris Saint-Germain this season 2021-2022, and scored one goal.
