- The goalkeeper of the Parisian team expressed himself through his social networks
PSG’s Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, confessed this Friday that “the last two days have not been easy at all”, in reference to the mistake that led to Karim Benzema’s first goal, which laid the first stone for Real Madrid’s comeback.
In an Instagram message, the considered best goalkeeper in the world said: “The elimination of the Champions was a hard blow.”
“The last two days have not been easy at all, but it is precisely those moments that strengthen us,” he added.
Donnarumma, pointed out as one of the culprits of PSG’s traumatic elimination in the Champions League round of 16, now opted “to give everything for the Parisian shirt, the club and the fans” to lift Ligue 1, in which they are leaders with a comfortable 13-point lead.
In his brief message, the European champion with Italy did not allude to an alleged fight with his teammate Neymar in the locker room after Wednesday’s clash, an episode already denied on Thursday by the Brazilian striker.
According to some media, Neymar would have reproached Donnarumma for the error in the first goal and PSG teammates would have had to separate them to avoid reaching majors.
