The Xiaomi-owned Poco brand is back with two new phones that have some notable processor options at lower prices, as the Poco X3 Pro and Poco F3 both use Qualcomm’s new chips that have been fundamentally refreshed and repurposed as flagship processors from the past two years.
Poco X3 Pro:
The Poco X3 Pro looks like the Poco X3 with the cameras and LEDs in the X modulation, and the biggest difference is the new slightly improved Snapdragon 860 octa-core 7nm chipset and Adreno 640 GPU.
There is a 6.67-inch Full HD + LCD screen with a 20-megapixel front camera hole, and the screen supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz.
Xiaomi provided the phone with a 48-megapixel main lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with 119 degrees, and there are also two 2-megapixel sensors for macro shots and depth sensing.
The Poco X3 Pro is equipped with a 5160 mAh battery, behind which there is an expanded copper heat pipe and multiple layers of graphite designed to dissipate heat efficiently, and Poco calls this technology LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus.
The battery supports 33W fast charging, and Poco includes the required adapter in the box.
The Poco X3 Pro is shipped with MIUI 12 based on Android 11, and the phone is available for sale in three colors: Phantom Black, Frost Blue and Metal Bronze.
The price of the phone with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage is 249 euros, while the price of the phone with 8 GB of random access memory and 256 GB of storage memory is 299 euros.
The phone shares hardware with the Redmi K40 with two large camera slots on the back with a 48MP main lens and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
The front end is also the same – a 6.67-inch AMOLED Full HD + screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Poco F3 is powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset that is linked to a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
This phone also has an X-axis vibration motor and dual Dolby Atmos tuned speakers – one at the bottom and the other just behind the headphone grille.
There’s also a triple microphone that can theoretically capture 360-degree surround sound and allow you to shoot videos with the Poco F3 while zooming in on the object in focus.
The Poco F3 ships with either 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage or 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
There are three color options: Arctic White, Night Black, and Deep Ocean Blue with a huge Poco logo on the back, while the price is 349 euros or 399 euros, depending on which memory option the user chooses.
