Ramos intends to stay at Paris Saint-Germain next season

Spanish defender Sergio Ramos intends to stay in the club’s Princes’ Garden next season in 2023.

Since Sergio wants to prove that he did not come for the pre-retirement phase, the player is important in the dressing room.

Even if his participation is few, he is a character who listens and can play an important role in reviving the team.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Sergio Ramos has confirmed that he can play for another four or five years at a high technical level, despite only two years remaining on his contract with the Parisian club.

“I see myself playing another four or five years at a high level and then another experience,” Ramos said, in an interview with “Amazon Prime.”

Ramos added: “In Paris Saint-Germain, I have two more years, I will try to make it three years, as long as my body can handle, I think my head is very focused, now I am in very good shape, I feel I want to play and I am happy.”

“I prefer playing with the best team in the world and winning world championships and the Champions League,” he added.

On the Spain national team, Ramos said: “It is a difficult question to answer, the feeling of your homeland is always a very big thing, it is your team that you owe yourself to, you have to play well so that later you can go to international duty, both are special feelings, but I cannot keep him, although with Spain you can aspire to be world champion.”

The French club Paris Saint-Germain had announced the signing of former Real Madrid captain Ramos for a period of two seasons, in a free deal, after the expiration of his contract with the Royal Club this summer.

Ramos scored 101 goals during his participation in 671 games with Real Madrid in various competitions, including 72 goals in La Liga, since he joined the team from Seville in 2005.
