French press reports confirmed that the management of Paris Saint-Germain had allocated 10 million euros in compensation to Nice to settle the contract with coach Christophe Galtier during the current period to succeed Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, the coach of the Parisian team.

According to the French radio “Monte Carlo” website, Paris Saint-Germain is allocating from 8 to 10 million euros in compensation that can be paid to the management of Nice to obtain the services of the expected coach of the Parisian team.

The radio indicated that Paris Saint-Germain hopes to finalize the contract with the coach within the next few days to lead the team in the Ligue 1 next season.

In a related context, Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino refuses to reduce the value of the penalty clause in his contract to leave the French capital club this summer.

Argentinian Mauricio Pochettino has a contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 2023, but club officials decided to terminate his contract in order to appoint a new coach who can fulfill the club’s dream of winning the Champions League title.

The French newspaper, L’Equipe, reported that Mauricio Pochettino, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, refuses to reduce the penalty clause in his contract, which ranges between 15 to 20 million euros, to leave the technical leadership of “PSG” before the end of his contract a season.

The newspaper added that the Paris club’s management is still in continuous negotiations with the Argentine coach in order to reduce the value of the penalty clause in his contract, but the two parties have not yet reached a decisive agreement in order to end this file.
