Necaxa and Querétaro stop their game at minute 62 to ask for peace

Necaxa and Querétaro were in charge of resuming the activity of the Liga MX Clausura 2022 tournament at the Victoria stadium, where they stopped the game at minute 62 to hug each other and call for peace in Mexican soccer.

Both teams determined that at 62′ the game would stop, because that was when the pitched battle broke out at the Corregidora Stadium last week, where there was a balance of 22 injured.

The players from Necaxa and Querétaro, along with the referees, met in the middle of the field and hugged each other, sending a message to try to stop the violence on the national soccer fields.

On the benches there were also greetings and hugs between the members of the technical bodies and substitutes, to then resume the match and continue to play normally.

Necaxa asserts its local status and defeats Querétaro

Necaxa managed to beat Querétaro by a score of 1-0, with a solitary goal at minute 9 by the youthful Heriberto Jurado, which was enough to secure the three points for the Aguascalientes team.

This victory meant the end of a bad streak for Necaxa, who had lost all four of their Clausura 2022 home games and currently climb to eleventh place in the general table.

The following day, the “Hydrorays” will be visiting the Pumas on the field of the University Olympic, while the Gallos Blancos will receive Atlético San Luis in a venue to be defined due to the veto of La Corregidora.
