Moulay Abdallah Stadium, in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, witnessed riots after the end of the confrontation between the Moroccan Fez team and the Royal Army.

The Shaab events resulted in the injury of a large number of security forces and fans, adding that a number of suspects were arrested for their involvement in the events.

 The riots erupted as soon as the referee announced the end of the match between Maghreb Fez and the Royal Army, adding that some fans of the latter team uprooted chairs and inflicted material losses on the match stadium, as troops threw stones and stormed the pitch.

The fans of the Royal Army did not accept the exclusion of their team from the Throne Cup against Maghreb Fez, and caused great chaos in the stadium, which caused the injury of a number of security forces as well as supporters of the military team.
