Lunaz brings electric technology to classic, luxury cars like Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Jaguar because electric cars represent the future.

The Silverstone-based company makes classic luxury cars and has unveiled its Jaguar XK120, Bentley Continental and Rolls-Royce Phantom V.

Lunaz is now expanding its lineup to include Range Rover vehicles manufactured between 1970 and 1994, or what the company calls the classic era of Range Rover design.

The first set of 50 classic three- and four-door Range Rover vehicles are available in Town or Country specifications.

As the names suggest, the Town specification is more suited to normal urban and highway driving, with an emphasis on passenger comfort.

On the other hand, Country specification aims to bring the modern engineering of these classic cars into the offroad environment.

That means it includes an all-wheel-drive system and an updated suspension system that includes anti-slip rails, flip-flops and an upgraded double brakes.

Lunaz assures these designs are private to its clients, with all interior and exterior designs individual.

The company has fully defined the Safari version without a roof as it was first seen in the 1983 James Bond movie Octopussy.

Other examples of more modest customization include things like: a beverage area for backseat passengers or modifications to various storage areas and boxes to meet the specific needs of the Country customer.

The interior designs also feature modern technology options, such as: front infotainment system, air conditioning, full entertainment screens, in addition to a variety of interior upholstery options.

The car is completely re-engineered, the restoration starts with stripping the car of metal, and then the electric powertrain is installed.

Heavily modified Range Rovers start at £ 245,000 plus local taxes, and Lunaz says the first 50 vehicles are currently being customized and should be shipped to customers by the summer of 2021.
