Liverpool Club announced on Tuesday evening that defender Rhys Williams joined the ranks of the Blackpool team on loan.
Liverpool club issued an official statement stating, “Liverpool defender Rhys Williams joined Blackpool in a loan deal for one season.”
Liverpool reiterated the 21-year-old Rhys Williams, after signing a new long-term contract with the Reds in the summer of last year and then joined Swansea City in a loan deal until the end of last season 2021-2022.
Liverpool began preparing for a strong friendly match against the German Leipzig team, to be held at 7 and a quarter next Thursday at the “Red Ball Arena” stadium, the latter’s stronghold and among its fans in the third friendly Reds in preparation for the new season.
Liverpool lost the first friendly against Manchester United with a clean four in Thailand before achieving a double victory at the expense of Crystal Palace in the second match that was held at Singapore National Stadium, during which Mohamed Salah scored his first goals this season.
