Henderson writes the history with Liverpool after winning the Carabao Cup

 Jordan Henderson, captain of the Liverpool team, set a record after winning the Carabao Cup this season, 2021-2022.

Liverpool defeated Chelsea on penalties 11-10 in the Carabao final, after the end of the original and extra time between them in a goalless draw at Wembley Stadium, to crown the Reds with the title for the ninth time in its history as the most English club with the championship.

Jordan Henderson became the first captain in the history of Liverpool to win these cups, the Champions League, the European Super, the English Premier League, the League Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup.

The professional Liverpool team, in its ranks, the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, won the English League Cup title at the expense of its rival Chelsea, on penalties, 11-10, after the end of the original and extra times in a negative tie, in the confrontation that took place between them yesterday evening, Sunday, at Wembley Stadium in The Carabao Cup Final for the 2021-2022 season.

The two teams exchanged attacks in the ninety minutes of the match, but they failed to find the net, so the match went to the extra time, which was dominated by a negative tie as well, to resort to penalty kicks, which witnessed a marathon that ended with the replacement goalkeeper Kepa wasting the last kick.

Joel Matip scored a goal for Liverpool, but the referee canceled it after referring to the video technology, in the 67th minute of the match for offside and a foul on Virgil van Dijk.

Romelu Lukaku also scored a goal for the Blues in the 98th minute of the match, but it was also canceled due to offside, the same with Haveritz’s goal in the 110th minute of the match.

The Liverpool team is currently preparing to face Norwich City next Wednesday at “Anfield”, as part of the fifth round of the FA Cup.
