Italian club Napoli announced today, Friday, the signing of French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on loan from English club Tottenham, during the current summer transfer market.
Napoli succeeded in signing Ndombele on loan for one year, from Tottenham, with a purchase clause of 30 million euros.
The French player joined Tottenham in the summer of 2019 from Lyon, in a deal worth 72 million euros, and he stayed with Spurs for two and a half seasons, before leaving on loan last January to his former club.
Ndombele is Napoli’s eighth signing this summer, after signing Argentine striker Giovanni Simeone from Hellas Verona, signing Korean defender Kim Min Jae from Fenerbahce, Cameroonian Andre Zambo Anguish, permanently transferred from Fulham, and Uruguayan defender Matias Olivera from Getafe.
It also included Georgian winger Kvica Kvaratskellia from Dinamo Batumi, Norwegian defender Leo Ostegaard, signed from Brighton, and goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu from Genoa.
Napoli managed to achieve a great victory in the first round of the Serie A, against its host, Hellas Verona, with a score of 5-2, in the match that was held last Sunday.
