English club Liverpool announced today, Thursday, the loan of its young striker, Paul Glatzel, to Tranmere Rovers, who plays in the English second tier.
Liverpool published an official statement on its website and account on Twitter, in which Paul Glatzel joined Tranmere Rovers on loan for the remainder of the 2022-23 season .
The 21-year-old returns to Tranmere Rovers for another temporary period after spending the previous season with Mickey Mellon or the Premier League .
The striker scored 6 goals in 21 games in all competitions for Mickey Mellon’s team in 2021-22 .
Glatzel was part of the Liverpool squad, and was the captain of the Under-18 team that lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2019 .
Tranmere, who is currently 15th in League Two after six matches, continues his season with a trip to leaders Leighton Orient on Saturday .
