Arsenal announced today, Friday, its fifth deal during the current summer transfer market, after signing the Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City.
An Arsenal statement said Oleksandr Zinchenko joined the club on a long-term contract from Manchester City. The 25-year-old has extensive experience in the Premier League and international football, having made 128 appearances for Manchester City and played 52 times for Ukraine.
Press reports revealed that the Ukrainian left-back deal cost Arsenal 32 million pounds, and he signed a 4-year contract to run until 2026.
Zinchenko became the fifth signing of the Gunners during the current summer Mercato, after Gabriel Jesus, Marquinhos, Matt Turner and Fabio Vieira joined the club as newcomers.
The Ukrainian player has already joined the squad at their pre-season training camp in Orlando. His team number will be announced at a later time.
