Barcelona team officials are intensifying negotiations to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde to support the Barca ranks, before entering the 2022-2023 season.

Barcelona faces strong competition from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, including French international Jules Kounde, defender of Sevilla, this summer.

Sevilla team officials set 56 million euros to agree to the departure of Jules Kounde, the Andalusian team’s defender, to any team in the current summer transfer period.

According to Radio Catalunya, the Barcelona administration has identified a list of 5 players, in order to choose one of them, in the event that the transfer of French defender Jules Kounde, defender of Sevilla, to the Blaugrana fails.

The list of defenders nominated by FC Barcelona includes (Arsenal) defender William Saliba, Milan Skriniar (Inter Milan), Jusco Gvardiol (RB Leipzig), Inigo Martinez (Bilbao), Roger Ibanez (Roma).

Barcelona had settled 4 strong deals this summer, in preparation for entering the competitions of the new season, which are the Polish Robert Lewandowski, the Bayern Munich striker, the Brazilian Rafinha, the Leeds United winger, Frank Kessie, the AC Milan midfielder, and Andreas Christensen, the left back for the Chelsea team.

The management of the Barcelona team is looking forward to supporting the defensive side with a prominent player, which was requested by Barca coach Xavi Hernandez.
