Napoli club regained the memory of victories after winning a difficult victory at the expense of its host Hellas Verona, 2-1, in the match that took place this evening, Sunday, at the “Marc Antonio Bentegodi” stadium, in the twenty-ninth round of the Serie A championship for the current season 2021-2022.

The goals of the match were scored by Victor Osimhen (two goals) 14 and 71 on the takeover for Napoli, and Marco David Faraoni in the 77th minute for Verona.

The match witnessed the referee issuing the red card and sending an expulsion in the face of Verona player Federio Cecirni in the 83rd minute of the match.

With this result, Napoli moved to the third place in the Italian League table temporarily, with 60 points behind leaders Milan.

Napoli collected its points by winning in 18 matches, drawing 6, losing 5 minutes, scoring 51 goals and receiving 21.

While Hellas Verona’s balance stopped at 41 points in ninth place in the Italian league table, it collected 11 wins, 8 draws, 10 losses, 54 goals scored and 46 received.
