Lazio swept its host Fiorentina 4-0 in the match that took place between them on Monday evening at the “Artemio Franchi” stadium, as part of the ninth schedule of the Italian Serie A championship for the current season 2022-2023, in one of the biggest Calcio results during the current round.
The goals of the match came by Mattias Vicino, Mattia Zacaite, Luis Alberto, and Ciro Immobile in the 11th, 25th, 86th, and 90th minutes, respectively.
With this result, Lazio rose to third place in the Italian league standings with 20 points and a goal difference from Udinese.
Lazio collected its points from winning 6 matches, drawing 2, and losing one match, scoring 21 goals and receiving only 5.
While Fiorentina is in the thirteenth place in the Italian league standings with 9 points, collected from winning two matches, drawing in 3, losing 4 matches, scoring 7 goals, and receiving 11.
Fiorentina continues to present its lackluster performances in the Italian league this season, as the team’s ranking has fallen dramatically, which threatens its appearance at the top of the Calcio table.
