Reports: Liverpool agree to renew Mohamed Salah’s contract for 450 thousand pounds per week

A British radio report suggested that the Liverpool club management agreed to renew the contract of the Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah, to end the controversy that arose over the dispute between the two parties regarding the terms of the contract, and the salary that the pharaoh would receive in the Premier League.

The radio revealed the weekly salary that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah will receive with his club, as he will receive 450,000 pounds as a weekly salary.

The Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah, is the top scorer in the English Premier League for the current season, with 19 goals, far ahead of his closest rivals, Sadio Mane and Diego Jota, the two stars of the Reds.

Mohamed Salah had previously won the 2018 Premier League Player of the Year award, in addition to being the top scorer in the English Premier League in two previous editions, in addition to many prestigious awards, including the best player in Africa twice and Puskas for the best goal and other individual titles.

According to the announced report, the value of the weekly salary that Mohamed Salah will receive in the English Premier League will reach 9.3 million pounds, equivalent to 37 million pounds per month, more than 430 million Egyptian pounds in one year.

Mohamed Salah is Liverpool’s top scorer, whether locally or continental, as he scored 8 goals in the Champions League this season.

In a related context, Liverpool legend Jimmy Carragher confirmed that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe will compete for the title of best in the world in the coming years.

“I am sure there will come a time when the world will be divided between Mohamed Salah and Mbappe,” Carragher told Sky Sports.

He added, “Mo’s numbers this season show how much he is superior to all the English Premier League players, and we also see Mbappe brilliance in the French League, so the same thing will be repeated just as the world has been divided over the best between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in recent years.” He continued, “There are agents in the new generation who are able to carry the flag after Messi and Ronaldo.”

On the possibility of Messi winning the Ballon d’Or again, saying: “I don’t think that will happen, I think seeing Messi win the Ballon d’Or last year will be the last time.” And he concluded: “I think we will never see Messi or Ronaldo on the podiums for individual awards again.”
