The Premier League legend, Alan Shearer, attacked the Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, for his noticeable decline this season.
The Premier League’s historic scorer said that Liverpool stars, led by Salah, “have to take responsibility.”
He added, “The stars of the team such as Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Thiago are not good enough this season.”
Shearer refused to let the English defender Trent Alexander-Arnold bear all the responsibility, due to the decline in his level, stressing that other stars such as Salah are equally to blame.
Liverpool appeared poorly on Saturday, and narrowly tied with Brighton 3-3, while Salah continued his scoring fast.
Salah, the league’s top scorer last year, scored only two goals from 8 matches so far this season.
