Manchester City crushed its host Leeds United, 4-0, in the match that brought them together, Saturday evening, at the “Island Road” stadium, as part of the 35th round of Premier League.

Manchester City ended the first half of the match with a clean goal scored by Spanish midfielder Rodrygo, from a header to the left of the Leeds United goalkeeper, after following the cross of his colleague Phil Foden in the 13th minute.

In the second half, Dutch defender Nathan Ake added the second city goal in the 54th minute, and Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus strengthened the City’s advance by scoring the third goal in the 78th minute.

Veteran Brazilian Fernandinho concluded the Manchester City quartet in the third minute of time instead of wasted for the match.

Manchester City leads Premier League standings with 83 points, one point ahead of runner-up Liverpool, with 82 points, while Leeds United’s balance stops at 34 points in 17th place.
