Leicester City continued its negative results after losing 1-2 to Wolverhampton in the match that took place between them on Sunday evening at Molyneux Stadium, in the twenty-sixth round of the Premier League for the current season 2021-2022.
The goals of the match were scored by Robin Tevez and Daniel Bodensi in the 9th and 66th minutes for Wolverhampton, while Ademola Lookman scored Leicester City’s only goal in the 41st minute of the match.
With this result, Wolverhampton was in seventh place in the English Premier League table with 40 points collected from winning 12 matches, drawing 4 and losing 8 matches, scoring 23 goals and receiving 18.
While Leicester City was in the eleventh place in the Premier League table with 27 goals, collected in 7 wins, 6 draws, 10 losses, 37 goals scored and 43 received.
The Wolverhampton team revived their hopes of qualifying for the European League next season, after achieving their twelfth victory this season in the English Premier League.
Leicester City drew 2-2 against West Ham in the last round of the English Premier League.
