Arsenal defeated Brentford 2-1, during the match that brought the two teams together this evening, Saturday, at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners stronghold, as part of the 26th round of the English Premier League.
The first half between the two teams ended in a goalless draw, while Emile Smith Rowe scored the first goal in the 48th minute, before Bukayo Saka doubled the score in the 79th minute, and before the end of the meeting Norgaard scored the goal to reduce the difference in the 95th minute.
With this result, Arsenal occupies sixth place in the table with 42 points, while Brentford is in the fourteenth place with 24 points.
