Paris Saint-Germain regained its victories in the French League, at the expense of its guest, Saint-Etienne, 3-1, in the match that brought them together on Saturday evening, at the Parc des Princes, in the 26th round of the French League for the current season 2021-2022.
Saint-Etienne scored the first goal through Denis Bouanga in the 16th minute of the match.
But Kylian Mbappe scored the equalizer for Paris Saint-Germain in the 42nd minute of the match.
In the second half, the Paris team managed to score two goals through its star Kilian Mbappe and Portuguese Danilo Pereira in the 47th and 52nd minutes of the match.
Mbappe became the second historical scorer for the Parisian team with 156 goals, equal with Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Edinson Cavani tops with 200 goals.
The Paris team had suffered a surprising defeat in the last round against its host, Nantes, 3-1.
Paris Saint-Germain strengthened the top of Ligue 1 standings with 62 points, 16 points ahead of its closest competitor, Nice, the runner-up with 46 points, while Saint-Etienne’s balance stopped at 22 points in 16th place.
