Paris Saint-Germain swept its host Lille, 7-1, in the meeting that brought the two teams together on Sunday evening, at the Pierre Mauroy stadium, in the third round of the Ligue.

Paris Saint-Germain ended the first half with four clean goals, Kylian Mbappe scored Paris Saint-Germain’s first goal just 8 seconds after the start of the match, after receiving a wonderful pass from Argentine star Lionel Messi, to be unique to the goal and put it over the goalkeeper the moment he exited his goal.

The French League confirmed that Mbappe became the fastest goal in the history of the French League, equal to Michel Rio, who scored on February 5, 1992, with Caen, the fastest goal in the history of the French League, after 8 seconds.

Argentine star Lionel Messi added the second goal for the Parisian team in the 29th minute, and Moroccan star Ashraf Hakimi reinforced Al-Basji’s lead with the third goal in the 39th minute.

Brazilian star Neymar scored Paris Saint-Germain’s fourth in the 43rd minute of the match.

In the second half, the Brazilian star scored the fifth goal of the Parisian team in the 52nd minute, and Mbappe scored the first and seventh “hat-trick” goals, in the 66th and 87th minutes of the match.

Paris Saint-Germain started the match with the following formation:

  • Goalkeeper: Donnarumma.
  • Defense: Marquinhos, Ramos, Kimpembe.
  • Midfield: Verratti, Vitenha, Nuno Mendes and Achraf Hakimi.
  • Attack: Mbappe, Messi and Neymar.

Paris Saint-Germain leads the Ligue standings with 9 points, while Lille is in twelfth place with 4 points.
