On Ousmane Dembele, he said: “His future belongs to the club. I do not interfere. I am happy for him. He is professional and I benefit from him on the field.”
On Pedri, Xavi commented: “Pedri is great, he reminds me a lot of Iniesta because of how easy he is to do everything, and I haven’t seen a lot of talent like that.”
Barcelona is in fourth place in the La Liga standings this season with 45 points, while Bilbao is in eighth place with 37 points.
Barcelona lacked the efforts of left-back Jordi Alba to be suspended, while the absence of Ansu Fati, Samuel Umtiti, Sergi Roberto and Alejandro Baldi continues due to injury.
