The Sevilla team fell into the trap of a positive tie against its guest, Valladolid, 1-1, in the meeting that brought them together on Friday evening, at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium, in the second round of the La Liga.
Valladolid scored the first goal through Moroccan player Anwar Mohamed Tohamy in the 80th minute of the match, and Karim Rakik, the defender of Seville, managed to equalize in the 86th minute, after taking advantage of a fatal mistake by the Valladolid goalkeeper.
The two teams got their first point in the new season, after Sevilla lost 2-1 in the first round against Osasuna, and defeated Valladolid against Villarreal by 3-0.
The referee issued the red card on the face of Marcos Acuña, a player of the Andalusian team, and Jawad El Yamiq, a player of Valladolid.
The matches of the second round of La Liga will be completed on Saturday evening, with 3 matches, most notably Real Madrid’s confrontation with its host Celta Vigo.
