La Liga: Real Madrid vs Osasuna

Real Madrid will visit Osasuna this evening, Wednesday, at El Sadar Stadium, in the 33rd round of La Liga.

Real Madrid is at the top of the La Liga standings this season with 75 points, while Osasuna comes in ninth place with 44 points.

The Real Madrid team is experiencing one of its best periods this season on the domestic and European sides during the current season 2021-2022.

Real Madrid won an exciting 3-2 victory over Seville and grabbed 3 valuable points, enhancing its lead in La Liga with 75 points, and bringing it closer to the La Liga title this season.

Real also eliminated rival Chelsea from the Champions League quarter-finals, after winning 5-4 on aggregate, then qualify for the semi-finals and set up a date with Manchester City.

Real Madrid will miss a number of its most prominent players against Osasuna in today’s match, led by Brazilian Casemiro, who suffers from a muscle injury, in addition to Mariano Diaz and Luka Jovic.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti decided to exclude Casemiro from the royal list against Osasuna, for fear of aggravating his injury before the fiery clash against Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final first leg on April 26th.

The Royal coach also announced the absence of Croatian star Luka Modric with the aim of resting him, as he suffers from great stress due to the pressure of the great matches during the last period.

Ancelotti is scheduled to pay the duo Camavinga and Fede Valverde in the midfield of Real Madrid with Toni Kroos against Osasuna in today’s match.
