Barcelona will face Elche at 5:15 pm today, Sunday, at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero, in the 27th round of La Liga.
Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez called 23 players to the Barcelona squad to face Elche, which witnessed the return of Jordi Alba, the left back of the Blaugrana.
The Catalan newspaper “Sport” published the expected formation of the Barcelona team against Elche, which consists of:
- Goalkeeper: Andre ter Stegen.
- Defenders: Dani Alves – Ronald Araujo – Gerard Pique – Jordi Alba.
- Midfield: Frenkie de Jong – Sergio Busquets – Pedri.
- Forwards: Adama Traore – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Ferran Torres.
It is worth noting that Barcelona is in fourth place in tLa Liga standings this season, with 45 points, while Elche is in 14th place with 29 points.
