A negative tie decides the Milan derby against Inter in the first leg of the Italian Cup semi-finals

 A negative tie settled Milan’s meeting with its neighbor Inter in the exciting derby, which brought them together on Tuesday evening, at the “San Siro” stadium, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the Italian Cup this season 2021-2022.

The first half of the match was exciting on the part of the two teams, but without posing a great danger to the two goalkeepers.

The result remained the same in the second half, amid attempts by both teams to snatch the victory, but both goalkeepers kept their nets clean.

Milan qualified at the expense of Lazio 4-0 in the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup, while Inter Milan eliminated Roma with two clean goals.

Milan played the match with a formation consisting of:

Goalkeeper: Minyan 

Defense: Florenzi, Tomori, Romagnoli, Theo. 

Midfield: Casey, Bennacer, Salemikers.

Attack: Krunic, Liao, Jiro 

On the other hand, Inter Milan will play the match with the following formation:

Goalkeeper: Handanovic. 

Defense: Skriniar, De Freij, Bastoni, Dumfries. 

Midfield: Barilla, Brzovic, Hakanoglu. 

Attack: Perisic, Dzeko, Lautaro. 

It is worth noting that the return leg will bring the two teams together on Wednesday evening, April 20th.
