Honor will launch a mid-range phone that supports 66W fast charging

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is now on its way to launch a new mid-range phone, and this has been confirmed by the Chinese telecommunications authority, TENAA. This phone bears the codename HJC-AN00, and features a 6.53-inch screen, as well as 66W fast charging.

At the same time, the prominent Chinese digital chat station on the Chinese social network Weibo published a set of other specifications for the upcoming Honor phone, which appear to match the specifications of the phone that obtained the approval of the Chinese telecommunications authority TENAA. The Honor phone in question here houses the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, 66W fast charging technology, as well as a 3800mAh battery.

These specifications appear to match the specifications of the Huawei Nova 8 SE, with the exception of the processor, and this means that Honor has just borrowed another phone from its parent company and placed its own logo on it.

As a reminder, the Huawei Nova 8 SE phone arrived with technical specifications including a 6.53-inch OLED screen with FullHD + resolution knowing that it also supports HDR10, an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor, 8GB random memory, and 128GB internal memory that can be expanded via external memory MicroSD, as well as a 3800mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging, which promises to charge 60 percent of it in just 15 minutes and the battery fully within an additional 20 minutes.

The Huawei Nova 8 SE also includes a 16-megapixel front camera, four cameras in the back with 64 megapixels for the primary camera and an 8-megapixel camera for the wide-angle camera, with a accuracy of 2 megapixels for the macro camera and with a precision of 2 megapixels for the camera responsible for sensing depth information. Apart from the cameras, this phone also comes pre-installed with Android 10 and with the EMUI 10 interface, as it includes a fingerprint sensor in the screen.

While the cost of the Huawei Nova 8 SE phone is the equivalent of $ 390, we expect that Honor will display its version of this phone at a cheaper price, but it will remain in the range of approximately $ 350.
