French national team duo are threatened with absence from the Morocco match due to a cold

The duo, Adrien Rabiot, and Dayot Obama were absent from the French national team’s training, which was held today in preparation for the upcoming match against Morocco, which is scheduled to be held at nine in the evening, Wednesday, at “Al-Bayt” stadium, in the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup, which is currently being held in Qatar and ends next Sunday, which witnessed the participation of 32 teams representing the six continents.

The duo missed training due to a sore throat for Upamecano, and Rabiot with a cold, according to what was confirmed by the French newspaper “L’Equipe” today.

The French Football Federation confirmed in a statement that the duo remained in the room allocated to them in the hotel where the Duke delegation resides.

While Aurelien Tchoamene organized the training after he missed yesterday’s training due to feeling pain in the back muscle, which led to keeping him away from the roosters’ training yesterday.

The French national team enters as the world champion in the last edition of the tournament, which seeks to preserve its football pride in front of the Atlas Lions in one of the strongest World Cup confrontations, where there will be a fiery confrontation between the strongest attack in the four teams currently present and the best defense in the entire tournament.

Historically, the French national team met against Morocco in 5 matches before the roosters managed to win 3 confrontations, in exchange for a single victory for the Atlas Lions, while a single match ended in a draw.

France scored 17 goals against Morocco, which also managed to score 12 goals, and Yuri Djorkaeff tops the list of scorers for the two teams’ matches with 3 goals, while former star Salah El-Din Basir comes in second place with two goals.
