 The Ghana national football team drew with its guest Nigeria without goals, in the match that brought them together on Friday evening, at Baba Yara Stadium, in the first leg of the decisive stage of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The two teams are scheduled to meet in the return match at seven in the evening next Tuesday at the “Abuja” stadium in the second leg of the qualifying round for the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Nigeria started the match with the following formation:

Zoho, Ena, Ekong, Balagon, Zaido, Bunki, Aribo, Ihanacho, Simon, Shikuze, and Osimin. 

On the other hand, Ghana will play the match with a formation consisting of: 

Richard Ofori, Dennis Odoi, Daniel Amarty, Alexandre Dzeko, Gideon Mensah, Papa Idrissou, Thomas Partey, Fath Ishako, Muhammed Kodes, Jordan Ayew , And Avena Jian.

Ghana qualified for the deciding stage of the African qualifiers for the World Cup after leading the standings of Group G with 13 points from winning 4 matches, drawing 1 and losing the same, scoring 7 goals, and receiving 3.

The goal difference was decided in favor of Ghana at the expense of South Africa, which was equal in points, which is the most difficult qualification to the decisive stage, which ended with the final whistle for the last match for the two teams.

While Nigeria qualified for the deciding stage of the African qualifiers for the World Cup, with 13 points, which also collected from winning 5 matches and losing one, scoring 9 goals and receiving 3, two points ahead of Cape Verde, which collected 11 points at the time.
