The German team Bayern Munich achieved a marathon victory over its counterpart Leipzig 5-3, in the match that brought the two teams together on Saturday evening at the Red Bull Arena, in the DFL-Supercup, to achieve the title for the tenth time in its history.

In the second half, Leipzig scored the first goal in the 59th minute through Marcel Halstenberg, then Gnabry added the fourth to Bayern in the 65th minute, and Leipzig scored two goals through Christopher Nkono in the 77th minute and Dani Olmo in the 89th minute, before Leroy Sani scored the fifth goal in the 98th minute.
Senegalese Sadio Mane appeared for the first time with the Bavarian in an official match, after moving from Liverpool to Bayern Munich last summer, to achieve his first championship with the Bavarian.
