Bayern Munich defeated Leipzig 5-3 in the match that brought the two teams together on Saturday evening at the Red Bull Arena, in DFL-Supercup, to win the title for the tenth time in its history.
Jamal Musiala scored the first goal in the 14th minute, and Senegal’s Sadio Mane scored his first official goal in the 31st minute, before Benjamin Pavard scored the third in the 45th minute.
In the second half, Leipzig scored the first goal in the 59th minute through Marcel Halstenberg, then Gnabry added the fourth to Bayern in the 65th minute, and Leipzig scored two goals through Christopher Nkono in the 77th minute and Dani Olmo in the 89th minute, before Leroy Sani scored the fifth goal in the 98th minute.
Senegalese Sadio Mane appeared for the first time with the Bavarian in an official match, after moving from Liverpool to Bayern Munich last summer, to achieve his first championship with the Bavarian.

Goalkeepers: Neuer / Defense: Upamecano, Pavard, Hernandez, Davies / Midfield: Kimmich, Musila, Gnabry / Forwards: Sadio Mane, Spitzer, Muller.
Bayern Munich participated in the DFL-Supercup after winning the German League title for the 11th time in a row, to face Leipzig, who won its first title since reaching the Bundesliga, the German Cup last season.
Bayern has won DFL-Supercup 10 times, and it is a regular guest in the match, and behind it comes Borussia Dortmund in the ranking of the most winning teams in the competition in history, which won it 6 times.
