Guardiola hugged Lewandowski and many other Catalans

The City coach spoke affectionately with Frenkie de Jong, Ansu, Gavi, Dembélé, and his former pupils Ferran Torres and Eric Garcia, among others

Pep Guardiola returned to the Camp Nou as a rival coach for the third time, this time with nothing at stake as in 2015 with Bayern Munich (3-0 in the first leg of the semifinals) and in 2016 with Manchester City (4-0 in the group ) in the Champions League. The Santpedor coach was very close to many Barça players. 

Before the game, with Ter Stegen on the bench and at the end with Robert Lewandowski, whom he coached for two years (2014-16) at Bayern, Frenkie de Jong, whom he wanted at City before he signed for Barça in January 2019, and also with his former pupils Ferran Torres and Eric Garcia and other youngsters such as Ansu FatiGaviDembéléRaphinhaKoundéAraujo, and Balde, among others. 

Guardiola was seen to be very affectionate with all of them in midfield and encouraged them to continue on the right path with Xavi Hernández as a coach, with whom he was also seen to be in very good harmony.
