Riqui Puig celebrates the goal he scored against Osasuna, the first he achieved at the Camp Nou

Riqui Puig, who this Sunday returned to play in LaLiga after more than two months playing the last minutes of the second half, managed to score his first goal with Barça at the Camp Nou -the second of his career-. “It’s a big day for me,” the media outlet admitted on Barça TV. “It is one of the most important days of my life for scoring my first goal at the Camp Nou and I will celebrate it with my family and friends,” he said, after “thanking Xavi and his staff for this little while and for all the advice they give me to continue working”.

After praising Xavi, Riqui threw a veiled ‘stick’ at Koeman. “The team has an idea that we didn’t have before,” said the man from Matadepera, who now only thinks about Galatasaray and Madrid. “We have two games that we have to win yes or yes, we’re really looking forward to it,” he detailed.

Regarding the goal, Riqui explained that “perhaps first I didn’t shoot with the power I required, but then I had the calm to think and place the ball to score”.
