The Spanish judiciary acquits Neymar of corruption and fraud

This comes after a lawsuit was filed that demanded a two-year prison sentence and a fine of 10 million euros for the player, but Spanish prosecutors have dropped all fraud and corruption charges against Brazilian footballer Neymar in connection with his 2013 transfer from Brazilian Santos.

Neymar, his father, former Barcelona executives, and ex-Santos president Rodriguez was accused of concealing the true cost of his transfer deal in order to “scam” a private Brazilian company claiming it was worth 40% of the Brazilian star’s future transfers.
