The computer (MacBook Air) MacBook Air from Apple is one of a group of the company’s computers that will receive its new processor M1, which was officially announced last Tuesday.

The new MacBook Air looks almost identical from the outside, but there are those who noticed that the familiar keyboard had changed, as Apple replaced some of the function keys on the new device, adding new keys to functions, such as: the Spotlight search feature, and the Do Not Disturb function. Disturb, and dictation function.

It is noteworthy that the Spotlight feature allows users to find applications, documents, and other files on a Mac. And with the Spotlight suggestions, you can also get news, sports, movies, and the weather.

The last time the MacBook Air keyboard function was changed was the addition of the Touch ID button to secure passwords and payment details. And now the company has removed the keyboard’s brightness switches, as well as the Launchpad button.

(Mark Gorman) from Bloomberg News was the first to notice the change and shared the new design in a tweet he posted on his Twitter account.

All of these three functions require keyboard commands or access to the notification center to use them, so this change comes to facilitate access to them, especially since some users do not need a lot to adjust the brightness of the keyboard, and similarly the Launchpad button is not used to run applications.

Apple said yesterday: The M1 chip is the most powerful chip Apple has ever made, and it promises – with the macOS Big Sur system – the perfect experience. The chip provides up to 3.5 times faster CPU performance, up to 6 times faster GPU performance, machine learning capabilities up to 15 times faster, and twice as long battery life.

Thanks to the energy efficiency of the M1 chip, MacBook Air delivers powerful fanless performance, meaning that no matter what users do, it remains completely silent. The new computer features an extraordinary battery life, with up to 15 hours of surfing the web over wireless networks, and up to 18 hours of video playback.
