Apple announces a new MacBook Pro that works with the M1 processor

Apple announced today, Tuesday, during its special event, the new MacBook Pro that features its own M1 processor, which was also announced today, along with other products, such as: the new MacBook Air .

Apple said: The M1 chip is the most powerful chip Apple has ever made, and it promises – with the macOS Big Sur system – for the perfect experience. The chip provides up to 3.5 times faster CPU performance, up to 6 times faster GPU performance, machine learning capabilities up to 15 times faster, and 2x longer battery life.

The company added that the 13-inch MacBook Pro is the most famous professional laptop from Apple. And with the M1 chip and Mac OS Big Sur, the computer becomes stronger and more professional.

Apple explained that the eight-core CPU – when paired with the active cooling system in MacBook Pro – is 2.8 times faster than the previous generation, providing game-changing performance when compiling code, converting video encoding, and editing high-resolution images.

The 8-core GPU is up to 5x faster, allowing users to enjoy ultra-smooth graphics performance, whether they are designing a graphics-intensive game or a new product.

According to Apple, the new (MacBook Pro) device is – with the M1 chip – three times faster compared to the best-selling Windows laptop in its class.

The new computer provides up to 17 hours of surfing the web over wireless networks, and up to 20 hours of video playback, and provides (MacBook Pro) up to twice the battery life compared to the previous generation, and the longest battery life in a Mac ever.

Compared to the previous generation, the 13-inch MacBook Pro that runs on the M1 chip can generate code in Xcode at up to 2.8 times the speed, and design complex game scenes seamlessly in Unity Editor 3.5 times faster.

Other new features in the new 13-inch device include studio-quality microphones for ultra-clear recordings and calls, and the latest Apple Webcam allows for clearer pictures, and more detail in shadows during video calls.

Apple said: The new (MacBook Pro) 13-inch device is available at a starting price of 1,299 USD, and for the education sector at a starting price of 1,199 USD.
